Chocolate Simple Syrup ====================== - 2/3 cup water (150g) - 2/3 cup sugar (145g) - 1/2 cup cocoa powder (46g) - 1/8 tsp salt (2g) - 1 tsp vanilla extract (4g) Instructions: ============= 1) Put water, sugar, cocoa powder and salt in saucepan. Stir + simmer until sugar disolved (plus 30 more seconds) 2) Take off heat and cool. WHen cooled stir in vanilla extract 3) Pour in airtight container and store up to 2 wks in refrigerator Good for mocha or on desserts.
